Data Migration Expert

We are looking for experienced Data Migration Experts to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring the accurate, secure, and efficient transfer of data between systems and platforms.

This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering reliable data solutions within dynamic business environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end data migration projects across multiple systems or platforms.
• Define and implement robust migration strategies, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Analyze complex legacy data environments and develop detailed data mapping and transformation rules.
• Design and develop ETL processes, scripts, and workflows to ensure accurate and efficient data movement.
• Ensure high data quality through validation, reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to align data migration activities with project objectives.
• Manage risks, troubleshoot migration challenges, and implement effective resolutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and data governance standards.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and post-migration reports for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or ETL development.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale data migration initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in one or more major platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, or cloud-based systems).
• Strong hands-on experience with data migration tools (e.g., SAP BODS, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, AWS DMS, etc.).
• Deep understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP/CRM system migrations.
• Knowledge of data governance, MDM (Master Data Management), and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Relevant certifications in data management, SAP, or ETL tools.
